Well some people have Kurt Cobain's posthumous apperance in Guitar Hero 5 a little unsettling -- including his widow, Courtney Love.
In a Twitter tirade for the ages, the former Hole frontwoman announce plans to sue Guitar Hero 5 publisher Activision over the way her late husband was represented in the game.
"For the record this Guitar Hero Fuck is breach of contract on a Bullys part and there will be a proper addressing of this and retraction," Love posted on her Twitter account. "WE are going to sue the shit out of Activision, 'we' being the Trust, the Estate, the LLC, the various LLC's Cobain Enterprises."
Cobain appears as one of five exclusive in-game artists in GH 5, including Carlos Santana and Johnny Cash as playable characters. In particular Love is incensed over the look of Cobain's avatar, which can be used by gamers to play non-Nirvana songs with CObain lip-synching along. Love insisted she "never signed off on the avatar, let alone this bullshit feature" and that "there's been four breaches of a very strict contract."

I don't know terribly much aboot this GH5 stuff but I'll try to respond like I do. I understand the contract thing but I feel that after a celebrety is pushing updasies, an' singingwitht the bleeding chior invisible, the person who takes control of the rights of likeness, shall forefit there ownership rights after five years of death.
